We were off this evening for my office xmas party. T and I got all dressed up, and headed out to the Playwright Pub on southbeach. T did well at the party. Her favorites were watching the boys in the other part of the bar, who had no relation to the party, play pool. She pulled me to the other side of the bar, pulled out a stool, and climbed right up, and settled down to watch the game.
T was also enthused with the Foozeball table. She gobbled down some fries and chicken nuggets, and we left after about 2.5 hours. It didn't escape my notice how times have changed, and there was a day when I would have closed the bar down, but no longer. We're now home happily watching a movie...and all is right with the world!
