Oh yeah, we also pulled out our chinese silks, to see if T had anything that would fit for our chinese new year dinner. Much to my surprise, the size 8 dress fit. When I purchased this in china 3 years ago, I was thinking that she wouldn't wear this until she was around 8 yrs old. Um, wrong! The chinese sizes are screwy and tiny, barely any rhyme or reason to them. Luckily, we still have a few left in even bigger sizes, and I've found a big chinese store in north miami beach that I believe sells this stuff, albeit not as dirt cheap as in China.
Whatever the size, T loves the dress and had lots of fun hamming it up for the camera.

A marvelous plan was made in the stars,
to create a miracle across the ocean so far....
Then entwine and weave all the hopes and labor,
it would take to bring us this joy called "Taylor"....
Now three lives are blessed and somewhere in the stars,
the planners are smiling, as we all are.
