On Friday night after dropping the schoolbus at the dealership, Aunt Dot insisted that we go to the toy store, which was located conveniently nearby. We were in search of Bendaroos. Our search was for naught. Those things are like discovering gold. They were all sold out. So, Dot let T select another toy. She chose pixos...another crafty toy she has seen on TV, and continually insists that she wants.
All I can say is, "Beware of this Toy!"
Imagine, if you will, hundreds of tiny little colored pellets, the size of BBs. T has already spilled the tray of them once, necessiating a HUGE clean up effort. You put the pellets on a grid, using a colored pattern to make a picture. One then sprays the thing with water, and the pellets magically stick together. T loves it. Mom, not so much.
At any rate, its a good gift for a rainy day, as long as one understands going into it that it needs LOADS of supervision.
The Bendaroo quest continues...

A marvelous plan was made in the stars,
to create a miracle across the ocean so far....
Then entwine and weave all the hopes and labor,
it would take to bring us this joy called "Taylor"....
Now three lives are blessed and somewhere in the stars,
the planners are smiling, as we all are.
