...I'm not sure, but I think that we hit another milestone. T actually "read" a word last night. She was looking over my shoulder at the computer, and started pointing saying, "G -O, that spells "go". Now, I know that she recognizes her name, but I don't think she's "read" before now...realizing and putting together that letters have sounds that form words.
She's also perfected her handstand...with the help of the sofa to prop her up!
Hope Dot, who is in Houston this week, enjoys the pics.

A marvelous plan was made in the stars,
to create a miracle across the ocean so far....
Then entwine and weave all the hopes and labor,
it would take to bring us this joy called "Taylor"....
Now three lives are blessed and somewhere in the stars,
the planners are smiling, as we all are.

Oh my. Yup...she's making the connection cognitively (don't you love the teacher lingo) of letter identification...then sounds that the letter(s) represent.
She's on her way.
Get her a subscription to the New York Times. She'll be readin' over it at the breakfast table before long.
AND Emily won't touch lettuce either. Is that an Asian thing? Just wondering.
Happy Green Days Ahead.
