They are part of the Karito Kids line, which makes absolutely gorgeous dolls for little girls. Downside is that the normal dolls are so gorgeous and the workmanship so good, they're like pieces of art and fairly pricey. T is still too young for them. Anyway, the line features dolls from all ethnicities, and a "story" to go along with them.

Conversely, these dolls pictured here, also from Karito kids, are only 20 bucks. They're plush dolls, gorgeous, but not so pricey that I'll have a heart attack once T gets her hands on them. Plus, they're dress quite mod'ly, yet don't look like streetwalkers.

I laugh about T and her dolls. They're all either nude or topless, and their hair is an absolute rats nest. Funny, that's how my dolls usually were growing up. Dot's, on the otherhand, always had perfect hair. Go figure.
