I Jinxed Us

yep, I was chatting today with Marie, bragging about how I thought our days of T hitting other kids in the class were over...given our lessons about using words. I was feeling quite proud of myself for solving this little problem. I should have known.

I pick t up from school today, and Mrs. M informs me that "she didn't use words today".

Uh-oh.

In fact, she took a swipe at more than one kid.

I quizzed her in the car, and she only admitted to hitting one kid. Rene. Her best buddy. Her explanation? Rene was playing with the other kids.

Uh-oh.

Was somebody jealous? Does someone have stalker tendancies? Apparently when her love was playing with the other kids, she got mad and hit him and everybody else.

I have her making a card right now. She's insisting on signing it "love" instead of "your friend", because "he's my friend and I love him".

Could the kid at least wait until Jr. high, before making her poor mom deal with boy issues?
