Help!
Here is the Q of the day: What is the going rate for the tooth fairy?
Given the state of T's wiggling tooth, I figure I better start finding out. I didn't think it would last much through xmas, but its hanging in there.
T is so proud of her wiggling tooth, that I'm starting to worry how she'll react when its gone. She shows it to everybody. And I do mean EVERYBODY.
Even complete strangers.

I left more coins than an amount - see Tooth Fairy post - on the blog - she was thrilled with it !
Do they still mint those gold dollar coins. Haven't seen any in a while. Have you explained there will be an empty space until her big girl tooth grows in?
Dahlia's first tooth brought her $2.00. (In Canada - we have a $2.00 gold coin - pretty cool). She was pretty happy with that. Then we had to go to the dentist a few weeks later and she had 2 teeth pulled. (Horrifying is an understatement.)So I put a (I mean the tooth-fairy....ahem) put a $5.00 bill under her pillow and she was ecstatic. It was like a hundred dollars to her.
She now finally has another one (on the top) quite loose. I figure the 2 front tops are worth 5 bucks each. They're the biggies!

A lot of tooth fairies we know leave the golden dollar with much success. Unfortunately, our tooth fairy is a novice and is always late forking over the cash. Sooo, she has to pay a penalty for each night she is late.
