Well, we were successful in escaping all our problems and woes, and went and hung out at my oldest friends house. We had quite the fun time watching the kids in the pool as we sipped on frozen margaritas and then chowed down on yummy BBQ. We're now back home, and T starts summer camp tomorrow.
This will be quite the big transition for us, b/c ...THE DON'T NAP AT SUMMERCAMP! If anyone knows my active child, she NEEDS her nap every day. However, since they don't nap in kindergarten, they don't nap at camp. I suspect T will be going to bed quite earlier. I'm just saying a prayer that my tired little ball of mischief doesn't start a fist fight with the other campers.
I'll be on edge all day...

Poolside Fun

A marvelous plan was made in the stars,
to create a miracle across the ocean so far....
Then entwine and weave all the hopes and labor,
it would take to bring us this joy called "Taylor"....
Now three lives are blessed and somewhere in the stars,
the planners are smiling, as we all are.

I think pool time is the only cure for this TOO HOT weather! Glad she loves swimming.
Yes, AA needs her daily nap or she gets very cranky. We rarely skip it! Hope you don't have any problems and she is a sleepy camper in the evening.
(BTW, what camp is she going to?)
Alyzabeth's Mommy
Hey Carol
When you pick her up - have a drink and a snack for her - she will be MUCH happier camper ! Good Luck!
Carol,
Sara started camp yesterday too and they take a short rest but no nap. She went to sleep almost an hour earlier last night and it was heaven! I'm going to support her in resting in the late afternoons when she needs to but I think it's time to transition Sara out of naps as much as possible. No naps in kindergarten!
